Assault At Bus Stop - Find Local News and Reports

An 18 year old man is accused of attacking a VIA officer after refusing to put out a cigarette at a bust stop. Police said the incident Tuesday at the crossroads Park Mall and ride in Balcones Heights began when a security guard told Emillo Jacob Garcia 18 that VIA prohibits smoking beneath covered bus shelters. Garcia then threatened the guard, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

I have to ask myself what Emillo was experiencing that made him assault a via bus driver. With the economy the way it is & the outlook many of our recent high school and college graduates face you can start to understand the situation.
