Ex Boyfriend Admits Conning Bank Teller

Joseph Aguilera • September 15, 2012

An ex boyfriend of a former Compass bank employee pleaded guilty Thursday to fraud for coercing the woman to embezzle $97,000 for him.

Anthony Regaldo of San Antonio admitted he duped Angela Salinas to take the money because of her connection to the bank.  Salinas pleaded guilty in January to bank fraud.

Their plea deals said Salinas was a teller for BBVA compass bank in Alamo.  These are very serious charges and both will land in prison for many years.

If you or a family member have been charged with any type of fraud contact an experienced San Antonio criminal lawyer immediately.
